Optional:
duplex cam combination forgings |
|
If both conventional
parts and combination forgings are being produced on the same machine,
the fourth station can be equipped with a duplex cam. You simply shift
it on the camshaft to switch from straight ejecting to the piercing/separating
operation for combination forgings.
|
Optional:
cam-controlled punch ejectors |
|
The second, third,
and fourth stations can be equipped optionally with patented punch ejectors
to remove forgings that may stick in the punches after forming. They are
controlled by oscillating cams riding along in the main slide, which are
actuated by a lever linked to the pitman.
This means the punch
ejectors are always perfectly synchronized with the main slide motion,
no matter what stroke length you set. Maximum stroke is 65 mm (2.56").
The stroke length can be adjusted by shifting a slider on the control
cam.
