Individually Controlled Ejectors

Cam-controlled ejectors in all four dies

Each die has its own individual ejector. Maximum stroke is 105 mm (4.13"). They are actuated by rotating cams and two-piece levers with breaker bolt protection.

The end-of-stroke position can be set on the actuating levers with adjusting screws.

Pneumatic ejector brakes

Each ejector has a pneumatically actuated brake with adjustable braking pressure that helps support the forgings on the ejector pins as they are pushed into the dies.

Optional: duplex cam combination forgings

If both conventional parts and combination forgings are being produced on the same machine, the fourth station can be equipped with a duplex cam. You simply shift it on the camshaft to switch from straight ejecting to the piercing/separating operation for combination forgings.

Optional: cam-controlled punch ejectors

The second, third, and fourth stations can be equipped optionally with patented punch ejectors to remove forgings that may stick in the punches after forming. They are controlled by oscillating cams riding along in the main slide, which are actuated by a lever linked to the pitman.

This means the punch ejectors are always perfectly synchronized with the main slide motion, no matter what stroke length you set. Maximum stroke is 65 mm (2.56"). The stroke length can be adjusted by shifting a slider on the control cam.
