The bedframe: a one piece casting
A box-type frame, extremely rigid, cast in one piece. The surface behind the dies that takes the brunt of the forming load is reinforced with a hardened, replaceable bolster plate.
Overarm-type main slide
A long overarm slide with short guides, wide apart, in front of and behind the crankshaft. It runs with much less play than is common. And a high-pressure circulation lube system forces so much oil into the guides that play is practically neutralized. Labyrinth seals keep coolant abraded metal and dirt out of the front guideways. A hardened armor plate reinforces the load absorption surface behind the adjusting wedges.
Variable speed drive
You can select the right speed for every job. And there's also a slow setting speed, forward and reverse.
Electropneumatically controlled clutch and brake
Stops the machine within a quarter-turn of the crankshaft in case of an emergency.
Automatic central pressurized lube system
Circulation lube system with electronically monitored progressive distributors and integral purification of the oil. The system monitors itself and gives a warning when the oil flow is interrupted or the oil tank is empty.
