The PATENTED GLAMA ROBOT CONSTRUCTION combines the advantages of linear guidance robots with the advantages of the articulated arm robots in an outstanding way, without incurring their disadvantages. The simple programmability, such as the establishment of coordinates by input of the target point, is adopted from the linear robot, but the disadvantages such as the reward collision space and the susceptibility of linear guides to contamination do not exist.

The advantages of the articulated arm robot, such as small movement space, robust joints, good protection against contamination, are characteristics of the GLAMA construction as well.
